Recycling Paper Processing

Do you want to know how paper is recycled? What is the method of recycling paper processing? This is important question which we all should explore. Millions of paper is everyday dumped in dumpsters and city garbage disposal systems. Let’s get into the word of recycling paper.

In order to get best quality of recycled paper it is important used paper reaches to recycled facility in good clean shape. That is why you see separate bin or container for throw away paper at home and at offices. The more paper stays away from rest of the trash it will be helpful in getting better recycled paper. Paper kept for recycling is graded and kept into different bin for easy sorting. The contaminated paper which is not good for recycling is not recycled but burned for energy use.

Once sorting of paper is completed and they are graded correctly according to their color and type it is tightly bunched together and transported to nearest paper mill company. At paper mill tightly bundled paper are lined in row by grade quality such as newspaper in one separate area and paper cardboard in other area. It is important to place each paper category in separate area for better recycled paper output.

The processing of paper starts with putting tightly bunched papers on conveyer belts for easy moment. These conveyer belts move paper to big vat (Machine used for pulping paper). The paper is pulped using water and chemicals. The objective is to break paper into small pieces and then bring it to fiber level. The heat and chemicals inside the vat ensures paper gets pulped and ready as raw material to be used for paper based products. Once pulp process is complete next thing pulp passes through a filter, the objective is to remove dirt, pins, glue or any kind of material which is not paper. After cleaning process is over the resulting pulp goes through de-inking.

This process is applied only if required such as if inked paper was used for recycling. The good example will be newspaper and printed papers. The pulp goes through a cycle of soap, chemicals air process to remove ink from paper. During the process ink will de-link from paper pulp and will surface on top mostly as air bubble filled with ink. This is forked out of good pulp.

Last process before actual recycled paper is made is bleaching and cleaning pulped paper. The pulp goes through high pressure as if pulp is beaten to swell and turn into the swelled individual fiber. Another process of bleaching is applied to recycled paper pulp for making pulp white. This will help in getting recycled paper whiter.

Last step to make recycled paper is to pour clean pulp into a machine and mix it with clean water. The water liquid mixture of pulp and water is sprayed on to a pre-designed paper size belt or trays. The mechanized process of spraying liquid onto screen keeps paper evenly and soon water starts drying. Once water part is evaporated the remaining pulp or paper fiber starts bonding together to create recycled paper. This is all about recycling paper processing.
