Recycling Fossil Fuels

We all studied in elementry and middle school about fossill fuels and how they are made up of fossilized remains of ancient marine plants and animals. Currently 90-95 percent of worlds total energy comes from ffossil fuels. It takes millions of years for fossilized remains to turn into crude oil. In such situation any unused oil or motor oil should be recycled to reused or create alternatie fuels.

We are already recycling paper, plastic, metal, glass, containers and other things to protect our ecosystem from getting these waste products into soil and waterbeds. Very few people know that there is process of recycling fossil fuels.

Unlike other waste products the flammable products such as oil, diesel, paints and gasoline simple can’t be put into trash cans or into dumpsters. It is hazardous to environment and can find way to soil and contaimante waterbeds. It needs proper handling and should be strored properly. If it is nt handled properly the risk are many from fire to contamination of water. It directly affects our health and environment.

Let’s look at what fuels can be recycled. First take case of motor oil. Under new recycle technology motor oil can be recycled into lubricant which is used by petroleum industry. Next is oil coming out of oil changer it also needs proper handling and should be recycled at waste management facility. If left unhandled it can contaminate water.

You will be surprised to see how much restaurant owners dispose fryer grease and unused oil. If waste oil & grease is not disposed properly it can damage our water source. Many companies have come into alternative fuel business which takes fossil fuels as source to convert into green energy. These companies tie with restaurant and drop-off facility to collect unused oil and in some cases pay some money for unused oil.

Moving from lighter fuel to more hazardous fuel, Nuclear fuel is also recycled into materials (Plutonium & Uranium) which can be used for other industrial products. Fuel like Nuclear needs upmost best and secure recycled facility with zero failure chance to avoid nuclear disaster.

If we look around us in home and outside, we will find many things which can be safely recycled to avoid pressure on our ecosystem. Owning a habit of recycling things around us and adopting products made from recycled technology is a great help to nature.
